Dr. Rasul Mowatt received the 2020 Shaw-Mannell Leisure Research Award from the University of Waterloo. The award is in recognition of significant international impact on the study of leisure, as broadly defined, and specifically for impact on leisure scholarship at the University of Waterloo. Dr. Mowatt delivered the 2020 Shaw-Mannell lecture on his current book project, Geographies of Threat, Cities of Violence on December 4th.
