Our Geography department is a tight-knit and welcoming community of students and scholars. We get to know our undergraduate students, working closely with them in class and on research projects. Our graduate students serve as mentors to undergraduates, providing guidance and support. 

We are committed to helping students prepare for their futures. Our undergrads design and conduct original research and present at conferences. We help students locate internships, find departmental and university scholarships, and facilitate independent readings. And, our alumni are active and engaged, frequently connecting with our students.
