Our advisor provides prospective and current undergraduate students with information about degrees in Geography, as well as departmental course offerings. She is responsible for submitting major and minor declarations, and helps students build class schedules and track their academic progress throughout the course of their undergraduate careers. Our advisor can assist you with internships and alert you to upcoming career events and other opportunities. She is also available to speak to students about job possibilities, and can direct students to useful on-campus resources (academic, professional, and personal).

If you are interested in a Geography internship for credit, you should first schedule an appointment with our advisor to discuss the internship. There is a form for the internship that must be filled out, submitted, and approved before you can register for course credit.

Our advisor can also assist students interested in conducting an independent reading and research course with a faculty member for credit. As with internships, there is a form that must be filled out, submitted, and approved before you can register for course credit.
