Are you interested in pursuing a master’s degree in Geography? Our Geography Accelerated Master's Program (AMP) allow you to obtain your master’s degree in a shorter amount of time. In our Geography AMP, you will take graduate courses in your senior year, followed by one additional year as a graduate student at IU to earn your M.A or M.S. in Geography.

Our Geography Accelerated Master's Program (AMP) is especially suited to students who would like to deepen their practical skills in GIS and/or other research methods in preparation for careers in the public, private or non-profit sector, or who seek additional training in geographic theory and research as preparation for graduate school applications. Our M.A./M.S. requirements are sufficiently flexible to allow you to create programs that meet your career and academic goals.
