We consider solidarity economy as a broad eco-system of values, relationships, and activities advancing an alternative framework of development centered on equity, cooperation, solidarity, self-management, and democracy. In this course, we will learn about the histories and practices of solidarity economies in Latin America and in Indiana while working in partnership with organizations to document and share their work.
