We offer several undergraduate degrees: a Bachelor of Arts, a Bachelor of Science, a minor, and a certificate. Graduate students can pursue a Ph.D. in Geography, along with an optional specialization: Climate and Environmental Change or Information Systems and Remote Sensing.

Our department is the principal location of training in GIS and Remote Sensing on campus, offering a variety of programs for students in this vital field. Our research-active faculty are committed to teaching and work closely with students in class and on research projects. We encourage our undergraduate and graduate students to design and conduct original research in topics of interest. Our students also have the option to concentrate in one or more of our five key subfields.
